Short Bio
Luka Kronegger graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana and received his Ph.D. in Statistics at the same university. Currently he is a researcher at Centre for Methodology and Informatics and associate researcher at Centre for Political Science Research. R is his primary tool for everyday analytical and research work. His main interests are social network analysis, data manipulation, multivariate analysis and other statistical topics.

Short course outline
R is state of the art computer system for modern statistical analyses. It has powerful capabilities for data input and data manipulation. Most of traditional and modern analysis methods are available in R and provide researchers with flexible tools for data analysis. R also supports excellent graphics and simulation capabilities. The aim of the course is to provide essential skills for use of R for data manipulation and analysis.
